Tournament Rules
- You must register at The Sutton Park Inn and all entry fees must be paid before you play.
- All CPA rules apply - local by-laws are excluded.
- First game of the match - Lag for break
- Subsequent games in the match - Winning Team but Opposite Partner Breaks (the team member who did not sink the 8-ball must break the new rack) Example: a team in A Division who have handicaps of 7 and 5 the 7 wins the game the 5 must break the new rack.
- FINDING OUT YOUR MATCH TIME AND MATCH LOCATION IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. ALWAYS CHECK THE BOARD YOURSELF.
- Each match is allowed 1 hour and 15 minutes. Please be ready at least 15 minutes before your match time. It is your responsibility to arrive at the CORRECT LOCATION - ON TIME. At the 1 hour and 15 minute mark we reserve the right to call the match resulting in a one game sudden death ending to the match.
- Coaching:
- 'A' Division: 1 coach per game (Race to 5)
- 'B' Division: 1 coach per player per game (Race to 4)
- 'C' Division: 1 coach per player per game (Race to 3)
- If you need someone to watch a shot ask an unbiased party to do so.
- When in doubt all conflicts will resolve on the side of the shooter as per CPA rule book.
- NO JUMP SHOTS OR SCOOP SHOTS. Not allowed to raise the cue above 45 degrees.
- Losing and Winning teams must sign the score sheet. Winning team returns the score sheet to the board at the The Sutton Park Inn.
- Final match - Single knock out.
- Good Sportsmanship will make for a much more enjoyable weekend. Sportsmanship violations, depending on severity, could result in being disqualified from the tournament.
